Virna Barolo Preda Sarmassa 2004

Virna Barolo Preda Sarmassa 2004

Reveals ample red fruit, spice, herbs, and tobacco on a supple frame. The wine possesses notable density and persistence, yet the tannins are fully resolved, delivering a tremendous amount of pleasure. This is perfect right now and will continue to drink beautifully for another 8-10 years.

Virna Winery

Virna represents the latest generation of the Borgogno family and after completing her studies in enology at the winemaking school in Alba in 1988, she joined her father Lodovico in the running of the family farm, and three years later she became the first woman in winemaking techniques from Turin University.
