RAEN Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2015

This impressive young Pinot combines pure California fruit with vivid Burgundian elegance. The bouquet is loaded with black cherry, raspberry, and subtle hints of Darjeeling tea. The palate is fully-integrated with tightly wound notes of red cherries, pomegranate, minerals and spices that glide along soft, plush tannins. Decant for maximum enjoyment tonight (or any time prior to 2020) and enjoy this majestic red through 2025.

RAEN Winery

Brothers Carlo and Dante Mondavi honed their substantial Pinot Noir making talents during a stage in France, interning for Burgundy legends Domaine Dujac and none other than Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC)*, the 'KING of Burgundy’ and the source of the most sought after (and expensive) wine in the world. Another unique insider fact is that the Mondavi's leveraged their connections to secure ultra-exclusive French oak barrels normally only available to Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC).
