The long elegant finish is met with superb structure and balance, leaving one wanting another sip to continue the experience.

Copious amounts of black currant, cedar, crushed earth and spice box carry through with a very pleasing texture that suggests purity.

The palate featured a cornucopia of deftly-balanced flavors including pomegranate, kirsch, black tea, Indian spices, roasted herbs, and a captivating finish (60+ seconds) that offered savory hints of creamy oak, black truffles and white pepper across a velvety smooth texture.

Inky black, it reveals terrific concentration, with a wide array of lush and powerful flavors that include smoky chocolate mole, blueberry jam, cassis, and dark black truffle pudding then crescendo with a long finish that includes slightly toasted oak combined with a hint of smoked game and roasted herbs.

This is a tremendous example of Pinot that is clean and focused.
