The new Ovid Cabernet blend “Experiment N3.8” 2018 delivers a luxuriously smooth blend of bold and rich dark fruit + delightfully fresh tannins that provide sublime enjoyment now and bode well for pleasure for at least another decade. This Cabernet blend contains a dollop of Merlot which adds rich mocha and bakers chocolate flavors as well as spicy Cabernet Franc for an exotic thrill on the zesty finish. The core palate displays traditional notes of blackberry, cola, dark cherry, plum, pipe tobacco, cocoa and caramel. We recommend decanting prior to 2023 and predict this age-worthy gem will continue to thrill through 2030. Well done (again).
