This wine has just hit it’s sweet spot. The bouquet is very complex, offering up plenty of dried red berries, spice notes, and compelling earthiness. The palate is loaded with plum, raspberry, and black truffles that are supported by grippy, plush tannins. This big wine finishes long with great balance and precision. It will continue to drink well for another 3-4 years. Delicious!

The Jackson family purchased the Tenuta di Arceno estate in 1994, with its sprawling 2,500 acres, of which only 223 are planted to vine. Cabernet Franc has proven to be the variety best suited to the estate’s diverse soils and topography, and is the true signature of the estate, as it thrives in both warm and cool vintages.
