Out of the shoot, the 2010 Barbour is rich and complex, exhibiting notes of cassis, blackberry, and espresso. Well-integrated tannins suggest huge aging potential and it delivered a gorgeous finish marked by cinnamon, nutmeg, and blackberry liqueur. Re-tasting the next day, we were even more impressed.
