Captivating aromas of jasmine and beeswax lead to lip-smacking butterscotch pudding notes plus sumptuous poached pears, grille pineapple and then a finish that reminds us of cotton candy or lemon pie with a graham cracker crust. That said, this is not a ‘sweet’ wine as the balance and finesse is more reminiscent of a well-aged Corton Charlemagne from a riper vintage such as 2015. This is an exquisite Chardonnay to savor now through 2025.
