The winemaker behind these magnificent wines is Dave Phinney, working from the Dr. George Beldon Crane Vineyard, which was first planted as a site in 1885. The new vintage is his best yet, full of decadent notes of current, plum, and toasted sweet spice, leading to a palate of opulent dark blackberry compote, chocolate, sage and tobacco.
