Once again, we were dazzled by this rising star Chardonnay. Wow! The plethora of perfectly balanced fruit flavors (e.g. dried apricot and Honeycrisp apples) plus ethereal nuances of lightly toasted oak, Filbert nuts, and flakey pastry on the finish. Since we were judging this white wine un-labeled (a.k.a. ‘blind’) several members assumed the 100% pristine balance was indicative of a recent vintage of Grand Cru Corton Charlemagne. Decant for 15 minutes prior to 2028. Enjoy thru 2032+. Worthy of 99 points now, a serious contender for triple digit status in the next 3 years. Bravo (again).
