A staggering bouquet of blueberries, white flowers, crème de cassis, and graphite is followed by an opulent, abundantly satisfying Cabernet that is seamless. Monumental fruit intensity, purity and depth of character make this one of the great, great classics of the vintage. Prominent flavors of dark plums, blackberry, olive tapenade combine with hints of dark cocoa on the profound finish. This wine can be approached now, but it is nowhere near full maturity, and should evolve for at least another 7 – 10+ years. Bravo!
