This 100% Cabernet delivers pure elegance. The tannins are sturdy and thick, but the mouthfeel offers tremendous finesse and grace rarely found at this price point. This new release offers terrific balance, while being extraordinarily rich with a solid core of dark fruit, blackberries, chocolate-covered cherries and cassis, with a perfumed scent of violets. The mouthfeel is velvety, refined with well integrated tannins showing spicy oak accents on the delightfully long finish. A terrific Cabernet to savor now (decanting recommended prior to 2021) and savvy collectors will want to cellar for a good 5–6 years, at the very least.
