Like a California Meursault, the 2015 Ridge Estate Chardonnay begins with subtle notes of lemon, pear and flint. It is pale golden in color and exudes pineapple fruit, braised pear, and fig aromas, sweet oak, and dried herbs on the palate. Soft and elegant, it finishes with notes of toasted brioche and stone fruit.
