Offering a sumptuous bouquet loaded with red and black fruit, sage and cocoa, the 2012 Opal Moon is an absolutely delight to taste. The palate shows soft, silty tannins and the classic “Rutherford dust” texture. Fine layers of black plum and currant are amplified with dark chocolate and baking spices. This is a treat to drink now and will continue to offer pleasure for another 4-5 years.
