La Sirena Cabernet Sauvignon Napa 2019

An impressive new Cabernet with ‘cult’ appeal now plus the potential of a true thoroughbred. The plush texture introduces grainy tannins that frame intense tasting, opulent blackberry, black currant, graphite and exotic spices. The sumptuous finish features tightly wound flavors now and entices with hints of dark cocoa powder, vanilla, and toasted marshmallow. A world-class wine that will please both Napa and Bordeaux fans, plus age effortlessly for at least a decade. Give this statuesque red a hearty decant prior to 2025 and enjoy through 2035. – October 2022

La Sirena Winery

Winemaker Heidi Barrett has made many of the Napa Valley’s most sought-after and cult classic
wines. Robert Parker deemed Heidi as the "First Lady of Wine", after she was
responsible for the creation of Screaming Eagle (from 1992 to 2006), Dalla Valle Maya,
and the Dalla Valle Cabernets in the late 80s and early 90s. While she is best known for
her perfectly balanced, elegant, and ageworthy Cabs, she has gained an international
following for her winemaking skill and artistry across many different varietals. Among a
lengthy list of past and present clients, her personal hall of fame includes her own La
Sirena wines, Amuse Bouche, Vin Perdu, Fantesca, Kenzo Estate, Showket, Paradigm,
Lamborn, Jones, and Revana.

Heidi grew up in the Napa Valley in a winemaking family and was destined to become
one of California's leading winemakers. It is said that winemaking is a combination of
science and art. With a scientist-winemaker father and an artist mother it is no big
surprise that Heidi was drawn to the wine industry. With great enthusiasm, a love for
what she does, and an incredible wealth of experience, Heidi blends the art and science
of winemaking like few can.
