The 2013 Ken Brown Rita’s Crown offers an alluring bouquet of dried cherry, black fruit, maple and leather. A tour de force, this exquisite example of Pinot Noir from the highly pedigreed Santa Rita Hills appellation shows off waves of dark berries, black plum, dried tea leaves, cranberry, hints of toasty oak and then culminates in a 40 second finish.
