The 2016 Fontodi Flaccianello is a sublime wine, with a cool menthol nose balanced with luscious red cherries and deep dark chocolate. With a mouth coating, creamy texture, loads of ultra bold and firm tannins lead to a several minute finish. Delicious with a hearty decant now, but will age seamlessly for another 10+ years. A masterclass in balance.
