Claudine Gaunoux has a well-deserved reputation as one of the most passionate vignerons in all of Burgundy. Fiercely determined to farming and vinifying in her own way, Claudine is in it to stay true to her regional roots, having taken over the estate from her father in 2000. Claudine hews close to traditional methods, tending her vines like a garden, farming her grapes by hand, using minimal racking, no oak, and emphasizing the fruit and terroir. The resulting wines are magical; dense, palate coating, flavorful and absolutely imbued with Burgundy terroir.
