Domaine Albert Grivault Meursault 1er Perrieres 2019

The 2019 Meursault Perrieres entices from the start with a silky smooth texture and bouquet boasting opulent aromas of pear, lemon oil and honeysuckle. Those enticing notes continue through the luxurious mid-palate leading to crisp, clean and elegant flavors of tangerine plus lemon meringue pie and hints of vanilla. This delightful new import will offer enormous pleasure to drink over the next 4-5 years.

Domaine Albert Grivault Winery

In 2019 the Albert Grivault Estate celebrated its 140th anniversary; a successful family
legacy spanning four generations.

After Albert Grivault, the estate was run by Albert Grivault’s widow and then by his
daughters Berthe Grivault and Mathilde Bardet, née Grivault.

Together, they managed to overcome the 1929 crisis and the two World Wars.
In 1980, Albert Grivault’s grandchildren, Michel Bardet, Marguerite, and Denise
Chevignard, née Bardet, took over the estate. Marguerite Bardet continued to work at
the estate until 2019.

Since 2004, the responsibility for the estate has been passed on to Claire Bardet,
managing director, assisted by Henri Marc, who is in charge of vinification under the
guidance of Michel, who still participates in the aging and marketing of the wines.
