Dehlinger Pinot Noir RRV Goldridge 2018

An insanely tasty Pinot bargain that will thrill classic California fans of Williams Selyem and Flowers. Gorgeous aromas of fresh springtime flowers and strawberries lead to a core of oh-so-fresh fruit that features red and black cherries, rhubarb, strawberry compote and black raspberries with touches of Provençal herbs plus a hint of creamy vanilla bean. The magnificent finish bode well for enjoyment for another 5 years.

Dehlinger Winery Winery

When Tom Dehlinger planted their initial 14 acres in 1975, he was one of the first winemakers to revive western Sonoma County as a winegrowing region after Prohibition. Twenty-eight years old at the time, Tom built a small winery building with his architect brother Dan on what had been an aging apple ranch on Vine Hill Road, outside of the town of Sebastopol. Soon after, Tom met his wife Carole and the two started a family on the ranch and put their energy into making and selling wine.

Today, Dehlinger remains an independent, family-owned and -operated winery recognized for its consistency and quality. Their focus is entirely on estate-grown grapes from thier vineyard on Vine Hill Road, which now has a four-decade-long history of producing exceptional wines. Carmen Dehlinger and Eva Dehlinger, two of Tom and Carole’s daughters, oversee day-to-day operation of both the winery and the vineyard. They continue to invest in their vineyard site, caring for the land and replanting the vines as they age.
