Hirsch Pinot Noir San Andreas 2014

Hirsch Pinot Noir San Andreas 2014

Launching forth with a terroir-driven bouquet of cherry, truffle, and earthtones, the 2012 Hirsch comes across as a dead-ringer for Premier Cru level Burgundy. The texture is wonderfully polished and smooth, easily supporting the red berries, spice, and herbs. This is definitely a candidate for the cellar, but will be exquisite tonight with an hour of decanting.
